Who we are

The MEDWAY Learning Portal is run by MEDWAY Training & Consultancy L.L.C. for its trainees and course candidates. It is used for online courses, live training, attendance sheets and certificates.

Information we collect

• Your account details: full name, email, contact number, profession and facility / workplace.
• Your training records: courses opened, lesson progress, video position, answers and scores, evaluations and certificates.
• Attendance sheets: the details you enter and your signature, with the date and time.
• Certificates you add to your certificate locker.
• Sign-in records: date, time, device type and network address, used to keep your account safe.
• Face ID / fingerprint sign-in (only if you turn it on): the portal keeps only a security key. Your face and fingerprint never leave your phone.

How we use it

• To give you access to your courses, record your attendance and progress, and issue your certificates.
• To send you course codes, course updates, password reset links and certificate notices by email.
• So that employers and authorities can check that a MEDWAY certificate is genuine (the public check shows the certificate number, course, dates and a shortened name only).
• To improve our courses using your evaluations.

Sharing

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only when needed for your training and certification, when you ask us to, or when the law requires it.

If your employer sponsors your training, MEDWAY can give your employer's HR team access to your training record (courses, progress, test results, attendance and certificates) in the MEDWAY company portal. Your profile page shows the company's name when this is the case. Your evaluations, complaints and signatures are never shared with your employer.

When you apply for a job in the app, the employer who posted it receives your name, email, mobile number, profession and workplace, your message and – only if you tick the box – your certificates. A certificate you upload yourself is shared with your employer only when you choose "Share with my employer".

Your career profile (experience, nationality, gender, languages, visa, licences, when you can join) is used to send you matching job offers only if you switch on "Show my profile to employers". Employers then see your profile without your name or contact details; they receive those only when you apply for one of their jobs. Switch it off any time in your profile.

Storage and security

Your information is stored on MEDWAY's own website hosting, protected by HTTPS. Passwords are stored encrypted. Lesson videos show your name and Candidate ID while you watch, to protect the course content.

How long we keep it

We keep training, attendance and certificate records for as long as they are needed for certification, renewals and audits.

Your choices

You can update your details in My profile and remove certificates you added to your locker. To ask for a copy of your information or to delete your account, contact us below.
